River bridges are highly vulnerable due to their location in a dynamic aquatic environment and under a dynamic traffic environment. The main reason for the destruction of these stairs is mainly the occurrence of floods and related hydraulic problems. To deal with this issue and move towards infrastructure asset management, conducting hydraulic inspection of the bridge can be very effective in identifying vulnerabilities. In this paper, hydrological parameters of catchment characteristics, general hydraulic characteristics of bridges, hydraulic characteristics of bridge piers and backpacks that are effective in the event potential are proposed and ranked. These issues can be used in preparing a checklist for inspecting river bridges and finally prioritizing the risk of river bridges. Studies show that the total output of hydrological studies of the catchment is considered as an effective unit during the bridge inspection process and finally the risking of the bridge is prioritized, while the general characteristics of the bridge, the characteristics of the foundations and the characteristics of the backpacks are There are four effective units, five units and three units in bridge inspection and bridge risk prioritization, which express the importance of the mentioned cases in relation to the hydrological index of the catchment.

With the increase in road transport in Iran, accidental damage has also increased dramatically. If accurate predictions are made using appropriate techniques, the percentage of actual and effective factors to improve the conditions of the accident can be determined. This research has been done using fuzzy logic in MATLAB software, and a detailed analysis of the data has been done and then the results have been obtained. The proposed model consists of three inputs, an inference engine in the fuzzy method and the output. In the first stage, six variables were considered as inputs: longitudinal slope, velocity, shoulder path, subterranean intersection, arc radius, gap gap. These factors are considered with the greatest impact on road accidents. The next stage of the accidental points was considered as the output, and in the third step, for the inference engine, the rules were written descriptively. Finally, the results are compared with the actual statistics. To be This approach will enable prediction of accidents in the coming year and determine the best method for modifying the components to minimize road accidents. The selected method is implemented and evaluated case by case in Birjand axis. . The results suggest that the proposed inference framework will be able to detect accident patterns and predict the severity of road accidents, thereby choosing the best option and priority for repair, repair and maintenance.

in this study, the role of human capital in the economic growth of the country's road transport has been studied. For this purpose, by collecting annual data and using the econometric pattern and Autoregressive Distributed Lag and the error correction model with the help of EVIEWS10 software, the model was estimated and the results were interpreted. The results show that both in the short and long term, with the increase in the capital of the manpower sector, the added value of the road transport sector increases So that if the input of manpower capital increases by one percent, the value added of the road transport sector will increase by 0.089 percent. The partial elasticity of labor input is 0.174, which shows that with a one percent increase in the labor force of the road transport sector, the value added of that sector will grow by 0.174 percent. Also, if the Capital Inventory Input increases by one percent, the value added of the road transport sector will increase by 0.183 percent. Another variable affecting the economic growth of the road transport sector is energy, which has a positive effect. Finally, according to the error correction factor in the ECM model, it can be stated that the adjustment speed is towards the equilibrium value and is suitable in the long run, so that in each period about 0.62 of the imbalance error is adjusted and in the short-term value is towards the equilibrium and long-term value.

Urban development and urbanization in recent decades have been the main causes of low mobility and the occurrence of various cardiovascular diseases in the citizens, and in addition, the urban space has become static and lacking in sense of vitality and prosperity. Accordingly, urban planners and urban planners have been following the development of walking spots in their communities since the 1980s. Qom is also one of the eight cities in the nation's premier city due to the lack of walkable space that has a sense of vitality To the lives of citizens, is deprived, and although efforts have been made in recent years, but given the fact that the city of Qom is a city of pilgrimage and tourist attraction, it seems It does not suffice. Accordingly, in this research, with the aim of feasibility and prioritization of pedestrian construction, it was tried to rely on the AHP hierarchical model to determine the appropriate range for this. Finally, after the research process, the axes of four Men, Safaiya, Eram, Imam Hussein, Zangaraki, 20 meters from Imam Hussein, Loghman and Boulevard of the Great Prophet were identified for this matter.

Connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs) with their predicted advantages are becoming reality. But it’s important that experts and scientists find out the advantages and disadvantages of the aforementioned technology before it becomes real. As a result, some studies have been conducted in recent years. According to the literature, CAVs can lead to a safer and more comfortable transportation at a lower price and they also improve capacity of transportation network. In this study, different aspects of CAV technology including its long-term and short-term effects have been assessed, but this study has mainly focused on how CAVs affect traffic safety. One may challenge the claims about advantages of CAVs and label them as exaggerated, because CAVs may eliminate driver mistakes but they cannot prevent vehicle and road problems. According to the past studies near 90 percent of accidents happen as a result of human mistake and CAVs may help lower number of accidents by reducing the role of human in driving. On the other hand, connected vehicles can alarm the driver if the vehicle is getting close to an obstacle including pedestrians and other vehicles, therefore pedestrian casualties may get substantially lower by applying connected vehicle technology.

One of the most effective factors in creating tire/pavement sound and reducing the sound of reflection from the asphalt surface are: pavement texture, pavement life, vehicle speed, and temperature, which in the present study, pavement texture and speed have been studied. In the present study, the simultaneous performance of pavement texture in providing friction and reducing pollution has been investigated. The English pendulum test by ASTM-T3-74 standard in wet/dry conditions was used to evaluate the skid resistance of asphalt. The depth of the pavement texture, which is determined by the size of the pavement material, is directly related to the amount of noise pollution created, and the finer the material used, the higher the sound level will be. According to the results, it can be concluded that the preparation of pavements with a higher percentage of coarse grain, can increase friction by 32% and increase noise pollution by 6% due to the movement of the vehicle. Compared to weather conditions (wet/dry), the skid resistance of wet asphalt decreased by 6%, and the amount of noise in wet asphalt compared to dry asphalt increased by an average of 1 dB. Needle aggregates were more sensitive than flake aggregates in a 15% increase in skid resistance. Also, flake aggregates were unaffected by pavement/tire noise and skid resistance. Therefore, it is recommended that in the process of preparing pavements, maintaining proper pavement friction, coarse materials, and high-speed control, especially in urban areas and sensitive areas, and pavement with proper drainage, be used.

The road pavement surface has an important role in relation to address the primary demands of vehicle movement, such as safety and eco-compatibility. In order to reduce road maintenance and rehabilitation costs and optimize the service condition of road networks, pavement management systems (PMS) need detailed and reliable data of the highway network characteristics. Laser imaging devices can be employed to collect information on an in-service pavement surface layer through a single measurement with data homogeneity and representativeness in an innovative method. With the recent developments in 3D laser sensors and information technology, high-speed 3D line laser imaging systems with high-resolution has been introduced for measuring key features of pavement surface condition. This research presents some of the key developments in recent years for laser-based distress measurement systems and explains the technology used in laser-based crack measurement system. Laser-based systems key features are introduced and compared with former data collection methods. These new systems are evaluated and described in terms of their applicability and potential for future developments.

Nowadays, one of the most important issues associated with the maintenance and repairing procedure of ballasted tracks, especially at the switches and rail crossings, is to cope with the frosty weather conditions, crisis management and repel its destructive influences. Switches on railroads play an important role in the management of rail fleet traffic, and their improper and delayed operation can lead to crises and disasters. Examination of the meteorological data shows that 51 percent of domestic railway network area experience temperature less than -20 centigrade and 96 percent less than zero centigrade in past 50 years. Accordingly, it is vital to hire proper approaches and consume regarding instruments and technologies in the frosty seasons. Therefore, this paper firstly investigates the instructions, proceedings, methods, and approaches which are commonly performed in frosty seasons, and then, by preparing a related questionnaire and utilizing Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Expert Choice software following by the consults and comments of experts, suggests the brush spoiler technology in addition to the heater as an optimal method to prevent freezing, icing, and snow heaping in switches.

Given the growing urban population and increased fuel consumption and the resulting environmental pollution, public transportation has the potential to reduce the density and fuel consumption, as well as the increase of services to citizens. Between public transportation systems, the bus is especially important in the middle cities of Iran, which has not yet developed railing systems. Kermanshah has no integrated transport system. Bus timings are unclear and there is a high latency between stations and terminals. This has caused dissatisfaction among users of this public transportation system. The purpose of this research is to assess the satisfaction of individuals with this system and to achieve the factors that enhance the quality of this system and increase its use. In order to achieve this goal, a questionnaire was developed, in which questions were presented in two sections. In the first part of the questionnaire, the descriptive statistics were analyzed and the confirmatory factor analysis was used to confirm the hypotheses in the next section. The results of the research showed that users are not satisfied with the city bus network. Effective factors in reducing this desirability were the lack of timelines, the lack of proper amenities at stations and inside the bus, the lack of facilities for vulnerable users, and the lack of payment card system and bus congestion.

These days the status and importance of transportation is not hidden from anyone. Since climate conditions are among the factors that affect traffic patterns in transportation network, so the main objective of this study is to provide a spatial method in combination with statistical analysis to investigate the impact of weather related parameters included visibility, wind speed, rainfall, snow depth and temperature on freeways light-vehicle traffic volume. The proposed method is evaluated on of Lowshan- Qazvin freeway. In order to measure the type of statistical correlation and identify climate variables which affect traffic volume, spearman correlation test was employed. Moreover, by classifying climate variables according to the standard thresholds extracted from related studies, statistical analysis has been performed to examine the existence of differences between the groups and number of vehicles, using the U-Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests. Due to the varied behavior of road users in each climate element as well as different time periods, the results are presented by emphasizing on the different seasons of the year and comparing them in each segment. In addition, to perform spatial analysis on the model outputs, evaluation the impact of digital elevation model (DEM) as well as distances between traffic station from the nearest meteorological station on the model statistical outcomes has been studied. The results of this research can be useful for the use of transportation stakeholders and relevant planners for assessing the impact of climate phenomenon on traffic volume.
