Abstract
Traffic accidents, as a global phenomenon, have always been one of the most important challenges in the field of public safety and road transportation. In this context, it is vital to know the factors affecting the occurrence of accidents and especially the contribution of various factors in these accidents. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to investigate the factors affecting the share of fault in accidents by studying the laws and regulations of Iran in comparison with the countries of America and Malaysia. The current research is descriptive and comparative and in terms of practical purpose, the statistical community of this research includes the investigation of the share of fault in accidents in the set of traffic laws and regulations in Iran and the countries of America and Malaysia. The method of data collection is based on the library method and the use of books, documents and There is evidence, the results have shown that some traffic laws are similar or different from other countries of the world, that various factors can influence the occurrence and severity of accidents, and these factors can include drivers' behaviors, road conditions, weather conditions, technology and Even the rules and regulations governing traffic accidents
