Determining factors affecting the cost and time of road and rail transportation using association rules

Transportation or movement refers to the movement of people, animals, or goods from one place to another. In other words, the act of transportation is defined as a specific movement from point A to point B. Types of transportation methods include air, land (rail and road), sea, cable, pipeline, and space. In land transportation, due to the importance of this business and the competition between organizations active in this field, the use of new technology and technologies in management and making better decisions can be very useful. In this article, we will first introduce data mining and its techniques and data mining software. Then, considering a table of export shipments made in the past one year and six months for an international transportation company, we prepared and extracted association rules in two models using Rapid Miner software and evaluated the relevant rules. The results presented show the factors affecting time and cost. And finally, future suggestions are expressed.
