Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effect of additives on the stabilization of divergent debris soils with poor geotechnical properties. This article gives special priority to our industrial materials such as fly ash and slag of steel furnace, and their effect is compared with conventional additives such as lime milk. Although the cost of lime milk is higher than live lime, it is preferred to live lime in agricultural fields for better efficiency and ease of use. The study of divergence in crops seems important because due to their increase and abundance in nature, they must be appropriately used with the help of measures. The loan source near the earthen dam, which contains divergent soils, can not be ignored and used in the clay core. In the past, clay soils were thought to have a high resistance to water erosion, but in recent years, the generalization of this issue has been limited. Because observations have been very confirming that in nature, there are clay soils that are highly vulnerable to erosion due to the existence of such soils in most parts of our country, measures such as stabilization of divergent soils or its improvement can be of great help to use these soils in engineering projects. This article will identify and study divergent soils and the phenomenon of divergence and evaluate the effect of additives on the stabilization of divergent soils.
