Abstract

Transportation is a need that, due to its indisputable role over the centuries, has led people to adopt the latest technologies, which in turn has profoundly changed their lives. Accordingly, in recent years, the tendency to use mechanisms to benefit from new technologies, the optimal use of existing resources, the initiative and the use of urban traffic management techniques have been considered the best solutions by urban traffic managers in most countries. High traffic volumes and car density have led to numerous delays in the passage of cars and even accidents. To meet the growing demands of today's traffic system, technologies are needed, one of which is the intelligent traffic control system (ITS). In the following, we discuss the measures required for the planning and deployment of ITS and its localization in each region, as well as the need for inter-organisational cooperation.intelligent system, transportation, urban traffic control, advanced system .
