Abstract

The three most important problems in big cities are urban traffic, unauthorized speed speed and accidents. It is always very

important to investigate and find the causes of accidents. There are many factors that cause congestion, traffic, time wasting, boredom and anger, which leads to unauthorized speed and the possibility of an accident. Speeding can affect both the likelihood and severity of an accident. In case the risk of an accident is considered as a combination of the probability of an accident and its severity, the risk of an accident increases as speed increases. Therefore, it is necessary to control speed and impose fines on these drivers to prevent accidents. In this study, the role of intelligent speeding detection systems is investigated through a case study in Gorgan to increase safety and reduce accidents. One of

the most important results obtained by studying the statistics before and after the installation of intelligent speeding detection systems is a significant decrease in traffic violations and accidents, which illustrates the effective performance of these systems and the need for their use.
