Deployment Approach Transit Oriented Development (TOD) In Reduce Traffic Problems (Case Study: South Zanjan Neighborhood in District 10 of Tehran Municipality)

Abstract

In recent years special attention to the development of Mbnty on public transport in cities and Aftthah projects such as metro Kalanshhrha (Shiraz, Isfahan, etc.) is evidence of this claim. This approach is important in planning the arrival in recent years has found and authorities have gradually realized its importance, the benefits and consequences of applying this approach to reduce air pollution, visual pollution, noise pollution, which is strongly pressed throats cities and residents have put them in suffering, as well as increased traffic, pedestrian safety, traffic safety have increased due to the expansion of collective mobility, lower household spending caused by transportation, balancing urban development, balanced system Remember, promote walk ability and Tehran as Srlyst the list of all the pollution problems in their neighborhood. Therefore, in this study, South Zanjan District 10 of Tehran Municipality is located almost in the heart of the city, have been selected. Swat technique used in this study (SWOT), and the method used descriptive analytical data collected documentation - Library and field.
