Abstract

Speed is one of the main causes of financial and psychological damage in crashes. Using traffic control cameras is one of the common ways to manage speed. The function of this tool is due to the limited space available in the pieces before and after the installation of the camera, so that in addition to the accidental points, we can also estimate the incident areas. In this study, speed information was collected in three sections before installation of the camera, its installation location and the next installment. The velocity changes in the three phases of the speed of the previous unit and the installation site, the speed of the next piece and place of installation, the speed of the previous piece and the later part were examined. Data analysis was done by SPSS software. Correlation coefficient and dependent t test were used for data analysis. There is a correlation between the speed of the location of the camera installation and the previous piece, in the 95% confidence interval. There is a significant difference in the speed of the installation site and the previous piece. The performance speed in the piece after the installation site at the speed of performance at the installation site of the camera is not correlated, but there is a significant difference between these two pieces. The speed of performance in the piece after the installation site with the speed of performance in its previous section has no correlation and performance is not significant in these parts.
