Abstract

Due to the importance of the quality of materials used in road construction projects, such as substructure and road pavement, soil improvement in order to improve their physical and mechanical properties has long been of interest to geotechnical experts. Therefore, due to the high cost of purchasing materials and carrying soil in such projects, various methods have been considered, including mixing soil with other materials such as lime or cement. Due to the fact that mixing the soil with lime or cement alone may not have the necessary properties for the implementation of the project, the optimal combination of these materials can be used. In this research, the effect of increasing the cement, lime and composition of both materials with sandstone sandstone was investigated. The experiments used in this study included granulation, moisture, Atterberg and CBR. Therefore, CBR testing has been used to evaluate the quality control of the consolidated materials in this study.
