The role of land use dispersion on intra-city trips to organize traffic in Gorgan

Abstract

Land use planning as the heart of the urban planning process plays a key role in urban traffic, in which the way the layout of applications and distribution of activities in the city is a factor affecting the urban transport sprawl. The purpose of this research is to investigate and evaluate the relationship between the impact of travel attraction on the level of districts and regions on the urban transport system of Gorgan. The current research is applied to the target and its research method is descriptive-analytic. The method of collecting data and information needed for research is referring to the departments, especially the municipality, for land use map application in Gorgan, and field study and adaptation. Studies show that Gorgan 1th District, which conforms to crowded and busy texture, accounts for 47% of travel absorbent uses, with more than 43% of travel attraction occupy the area of one to administrative use. Also, the 3rd district of Gorgan has the lowest concentration of attracting travel destinations with 24% and an area of 101.3 hectares in the city. The most popular travel attraction in this administrative area is 8/40 hectares and then the training is 23.7 hectares. Attractive travel applications in the second region after the Gorgan region have the highest concentration in the city with 29% and an area of 121.3 hectares.
