Abstract

Transportation network design is the most important supply chain issues. In many of the issues that have been presented so far in the supply chain, only two factors taken into consideration is the origin and destination. Our means of transport as well as the third dimension will be added to the supply chain and we provide three-dimensional supply chain. For this purpose, multi stage supply chain used. In addition, the discounted cost is also considered.
Purpose designed transportation network to meet customer demand with minimum cost and maximum benefit from the discount. The mathematical model developed and its accuracy is evaluated by Lingo software. The meta-heuristic methods to solve it we use. In this study, 8 meta-heuristic methods, including genetic algorithms and optimization algorithm and particle density electromagnetic algorithms and simulated annealing algorithm and any combination of restarting method used.
Finally meta-heuristic solution methods using performance ratio relative deviation are compared. Algorithms results show that optimization algorithms combined particle density has a better performance than other algorithms are.
