Abstract

Soil bio-cementation is a new method for soil improvement and improvement of its resistance parameters.Over the past two decades, extensive studies have been conducted on it around the world. Due to the newness of this method and its various effective parameters, such as the amount of reactants, buffers, type and amount of bacteria, type of soil, etc., there is a need to do different experiments in different environments and conditions . then appropriate strategy can taken with each project. The change in any of the above parameters will have a direct impact on the final sample resistance as well as the projection economy. In this study, the effect of bacteria concentration on single fase injection Is evaluated. 3 Different concentrations of 1, 3 and 5 cc bacteria per 100 cc of cementation solution. According to the results of the 6 * 6 direct shear test, it can be seen that in the concentrations studied in this study, use of 3 cc bacteria in 100 cc of cementation solution gives the greatest resistance.
