Location Optimal cycling routes with sustainable transport approach Case Study: (Abadeh)

bicycle ride has long been considered as one of the most important types of transportation systems . but with the advent of cars in communities , the system has lost its efficiency and is gradually replaced by motor vehicles . with the introduction of sustainable development in transportation , different societies have been used .one of the cities that urban professionals plan in the field of biking is the city of abadeh in fars province . this study aimed to investigate the principles and criteria for designing bicycle paths in this city and to keep pace with the development of urban transportation with other iranian cities . the results show that there are some problems such as lack of roads , inappropriate floors , existence of border parking , lack of bicycle infrastructure and economical considerations and strengths such as appropriate roads , scenic beauty , size and shape of city , tendency to growth and development of city by inhabitants . analysis and comparison of design criteria clearly showed that the city has the ability to use the bicycle - based system , according to ahp analysis , design , primary priority , valieasr street , the place of freedom to valieasr and valieasr was the fourth priority .
