Abstract
One of the important strategies for the development and smartening of today's cities, which provides the basis for improving the performance of urban management in the public transportation sector, is the implementation and establishment of Industry 4.0. This strategy is mainly proposed to the decision makers according to the limitations and the objective function to solve traffic problems through intercity rail transportation (metro) in the urban space. The current research examines this research question: can solutions based on composite analysis be effective as a new and optimal method in the efficiency of intercity rail transportation (metro)? In today's smart cities, the content and structural function of Industry 4.0 is in explaining customer values and the efficiency of intercity rail transportation management (metro) based on the scope of implementation, communication and innovation. Based on the theory of smart networks in intercity rail transportation, it can be acknowledged that Tehran Metro will be upgraded to Industry 4.0 when its internal communication system is strengthened and technological innovation is formed based on existing infrastructure and innovative platforms. Therefore, the present research has provided a model to measure the level of readiness of Tehran Metro for the establishment of Industry 4.0. In this research, measurement scales in Industry 4.0 based on the research methodology relied on a combined approach.
