Abstract
The purpose of this research was to investigate the strategic impact of transportation logistics on the responsiveness of the production supply chain with the mediating role of delivery reliability and delivery speed. The method of carrying out the present research was descriptive and the correlation research design was structural equations type. The statistical population of this research includes manufacturing companies in Tehran, which number 430 companies. The sample size was determined using the Morgan-Karjesi table equal to 204 companies, and these people (company managers, vice presidents, supply managers, production managers, transportation and distribution logistics managers, planning managers, operations managers, information technology managers and He was a purchasing manager in various large manufacturing companies). They responded to the questionnaires of transportation logistics strategy, production supply chain responsiveness, delivery reliability, and delivery speed, which were adapted from the standard scale of Al-Shabul's article (2022). The reliability and validity of the tools were investigated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, composite reliability and confirmatory analysis, diagnostic validity and divergent validity, and the obtained results showed the acceptable reliability and validity of the tools. Data analysis was done on two descriptive and inferential levels. At the descriptive level, the data was analyzed using descriptive indices of mean and standard deviation, and at the inferential level, new correlation was used with SPSS and AMOS software. The results of this study show that the reliability and speed of delivery mediate the relationship between the logistics strategy of transportation and the responsiveness of supply chain of production companies.
