Abstract
This paper represents the method of preparing a database of landslides by conducting a case study (part of the road area from Shahrekord to Izeh and Shahrekord to Masjed Soleiman). To this end, various data sources such as aerial photos, satellite images, topographic and geological maps, and environmental, geographical and meteorological data of the study area were collected. The situation of the given area was carefully examined. In order to accurate record the specifications, a questionnaire was prepared along with its manual. Then, field investigation and landslide data record were performed by an expert team. In the axis of Shahrekord to Izeh, which is about 267 km, 130 landslides and in the axis of Shahrekord to Masjed Soleiman, which is about 410 km, 156 landslides were identified and recorded. Finally, the factors affecting the occurrence and characteristics of landslides in these routes were identified. These factors and characteristics include dip, dip direction, pridominant materials, and dimensions of landslide mass, depth and type of landslide movement in these axes.
